Monastir 2022 congress. The board of directors would like to congratulate all the organizing team of the 47th congress of the Société de Biomécanique. This edition, held for the first time abroad, was a great success with 182 participants, 116 accepted abstracts and 3 plenary lectures, all this enhanced by the warm welcome and the sun of Monastir. Congratulations also to the invited speakers, to the speakers and to all the attendants for having made this congress a great success!

  • Clément Bielinski, for the PhD award

Renewal of the Board and of the Bureau of the Société de Biomécanique. We thank again Valérie Deplano, Khalil Ben Mansour and Damien Garcia for their huge work for the Société de Biomécanique during their last three years of mandate. Your votes allowed us to reappoint Baptiste Sandoz who manages the SB website skillfully and to elect Carine Guivier-CurienNolwen Fougeron and Yohan Payan. Congratulations to them ! 

A new Bureau has been elected following the General Assembly of October 27, 2022, congratulations to its new members:

  • President: Bruno Watier
  • Vice-President: Nasser Rezzoug
  • General secretary: Aurélie Benoit
  • Treasurer: Hélène Follet

The 2023 SB congress will take place in Grenoble from October 25 to 27. Mark this date in your agenda to attend this new edition organized by 7 laboratories from Université Grenoble Alpes, Université Savoie Mont-Blanc, CNRS and Grenoble INP under two themes symbolic of Grenoble and the Auvergnes-Rhônes-Alpes region : "Biomechanics and Montain" and "Large instruments and small scale imaging for biomechanics". Grenoble2023

CMBBE 2023. Only a few days left to submit your abstracts (submission) for the next Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering conference that will take place in Paris, from May 3 to 5, 2023. The deadline has been extended to November 15 for regular sessions and to November 30 for special sessions. A special session is organized by the Société de Biomécanique about "How biomechanical models can improve dental clinics ?".
