Thank you also for attending the CMBBE congress that took place in Paris last week! Organized in collaboration with the Société de Biomécanique, this edition was a real success with nearly 580 participants. We expect the same level of interest for our 48th annual congress, which will be held in Grenoble from October 25 to 27, 2023.
Here is a reminder of several actions carried out each year by the Société de Biomécanique to encourage and promote research in all fields of biomechanics.
The mapping of laboratories and training courses allows to identify all the French-speaking laboratories and training courses in biomechanics. Do not hesitate to contact us to update it or to add your laboratory or training.
The awards and grants offered by the SB are an opportnity to reward the work of SB members, to encourage the participation of young researchers in the annual conference or to initiate new collaborations. Only a few days are left (deadline May 15!) to submit nominations for the Christian Oddou award or to apply for research collaboration grants.
After registration on the French SB website, you can post job, PhD or internship offers. Do not hesitate to feed this page as it is very often consulted! Do not forget to send us information about PhD defenses in your laboratory. They are posted on the homepage and archived on a specific page.
As part of its outreach policy, the Société de Biomécanique offers three labels to its active members for the scientific events they organize. The objective is to build and reinforce the link between the SB and research groups in biomechanics or at the interfaces as well as with national and international learned societies. Support up to 2000 € can be granted for the organization of these events under the auspices of the SB.
Finally, the board of directors has had 3 student seats for the past 2 years. One seat is still to be filled! Do not hesitate to contact the students currently at the board to discuss their missions. To join the board, send your CV and a motivation letter with the missions you would like to pursue or initiate to the president of the Société de Biomécanique.
