🎓 PhD Opportunity in Biomechanics, Neurosciences, and Rehabilitation
The Laboratory of Kinesiology (K-LAB) at University of Geneva (UNIGE) and Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) are offering a fully funded PhD position on the topic of Gait robustness in children with neuro-motor disorders.📌 Details:

💡 Context and Objectives
This PhD project is part of the ENABLE European-funded initiative. The goal is to evaluate motor abilities in children with neuromotor disorders within their daily environments and design personalized telerehabilitation solutions using AI-driven tools.The project will involve:

• Advanced biomechanical and neurophysiological assessments
• Innovative therapeutic interventions to enhance gait robustness
• Multidisciplinary collaboration across research, clinical practice, and patient engagement

👩‍🔬 Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree in neuroscience, kinesiology, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or a related field
• Experience with motion analysis and EMG (desirable)
• Proficiency in programming (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) for data analysis
• Interest in clinical research with pediatric populations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
