The Société de Biomécanique has set up grants to help non-student researchers who are exceptionally short of funds to attend its annual conference. For the 2025 edition, this grant means that the Société de Biomécanique will cover registration, transport and accommodation costs up to €1,000.
I/ Application
This grant is intended for any research or teaching staff (ATER, post-doctoral, research engineer, teacher-researcher, etc.) with limited funds. To apply, you must:
- Be research and/or teaching staff;
- Be a member of the Société de Biomécanique for the current year (see this link);
- Not have active funding on the abstract topic exceeding 15,000 €;
- Not have funding from the laboratory's own funds;
- Not have benefited from this grant in the previous three years;
- Not participate in more than one other conference in the current calendar year;
- Have a communication (oral or poster) accepted for the conference. This criterion will be validated by the Société de Biomécanique after submission of your grant application and abstract once the evaluators' responses are known.

II/ Evaluation Procedure
The selection of applications will be made by random drawing from all eligible applications.
III/ Results
The results will be communicated before the deadline for preferential rate registration. The registration procedures for grant recipients will be communicated at that time. Do not register for the conference before you have received the result of your application.
Grant recipients commit to participating in communication actions by providing a blog article and an illustration banner for the Société de Biomécanique's website within the current calendar year.
