Société de Biomécanique
Grants

Objective The major goal of the research collaboration grants of the Société de Biomécanique (SB) is to favor collaborative scientific projects on the initiative of the SB members. These grants will offer the winners the possibility to achieve a mobility (more than one month) in a research laboratory different from their current laboratory. The research topics should fit into those of the SB. The youngest members will be able to widen or reinforce their skills but also learn about other research environments. The most experienced members can notably focus on research activities during that time.

Categories Two categories will be distinguished. «CoRSB_JC» for the youngest researchers and  «CoRSB_CE» for the statutory teachers-researchers & researchers. Every year, one grant per category is awarded. The amount of the grant will be based on the estimated costs to a maximum of 3000 €.

Application files have to be sent no later than May 15 of the year of the congress to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Scientific committee For each category, the applications are evaluated by 4 reviewers. On the basis of these evaluations, a synthesis is produced by the CoRSB fellowship chair, who then proposes a winner per category to the SB Board.

CoRSB_JC : Two scientists well-known for their work in biomechanics field and outside SB Board, a former winner of the SB Young investigator Award, 1 SB Board Member.

CoRSB_CE : Two other scientists well-known for their work in biomechanics field and outside SB Board, a former winner of the Christian Oddou Award, 1 SB Board Member.

The Research Collaboration Grant program was set up thanks to the kind support of our partners.
